Overview
These are dcoumentation shots of the tenth anniversary installation of the Institute of Cultural Inquiry's ongoing "AIDS Chronicles" project, for which I serve as a volunteer. It took place at the Sam Francis Gallery in Santa Monica, California. The "AIDS Chronicles" uses overpainted front pages of the New York Times to draw attention to the dearth of serious AIDS reporting in the United States.
The three walls in the Sam Francis Gallery held a total of about 9 months of the Chronicles. Bound volumes from previous years are displayed on the tables.
